With the rest of the house now livable, it’s finally time to give the garage a little love.
It’s been a total dumping ground with all of the construction since we bought the house in July. This has caused me great anguish and stress. It’s gotten to the point that I can’t stand not having my “happy place” any more, and it’s stressing me out that I can find any of my tools and my car hasn’t been touched in months.
Accomplished thus far: I replaced the door into the house, began slapping some paint on the walls for the first time ever (it’s not a great paint job, but I don’t care. T he drywall isn’t finished well, but it’s a garage), and I bought some cabinets and peg board. There’s much to do, but it’ll get there.

I like the touch of leaving the murderbox uncovered; it’s the only way children will learn.

Teach ‘em what the real world is like!

Good start!
My garage isn't too bad, but my basement workshop happy place looks like a damn bomb went off. I need to tackle that.
